|Script Release Date:||March 22, 2011|

In 3dsMax 2011, Autodesk introduced the new Caddies for manipulating Editable Poly subobjects. Many users have found these caddies to be troublesome and annoying, as they are often moving around unexpectedly and often blend in to the viewports so well you forget they are present.
This script allows you to access a limited number of controls for these caddies. You can now control the position of the caddies in two ways- so that it follows your selection, or so that it is locked to a position on your screen. With the former you can also change the location relative to your selection, called the "Offset". The script also allows you to change the transparency options and the spacing between "widgets". Additionally, the settings you choose will be saved in an .ini file, and if "Save as Startup" is checked, the settings will be loaded each time 3dsMax is loaded.
To obtain this script, add it to your cart and proceed through the checkout process. As this item is free, it is NOT necessary to enter any credit card info on the payment page. Once checkout is complete, you will have immediate access to the download link.
To properly install the script, go to the MaxScript menu and choose "Run Script" and then browse to the .mzp file you just downloaded. You can then add a button into a toolbar, or access the script in any other preferred method.
